Harinder Lamba
Without specialist advice on India Western companies can tread water for years, suffering low or no revenues and reputational risks. Harinder founded LH-Blenheim Advisors in 2006 with a niche focus on India market entry tactics and issues, business and integrity risks – assisting clients that newly seek the promise of India or struggle to acquire traction.
Harinder previously served as an advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, and as expat head of legal & compliance at Standard Chartered Bank in India. Starting out in 1987, he worked as a lawyer in London advising European companies on India, before transitioning to business/ project development roles based out of Istanbul and Baku. Having amassing years of experience in cross-border business and risk in the immediate aftermath of the dissolution of the Soviet Union, including trade, infrastructure project-development (Container Port, Mining in Kazakhstan, Chemicals Transhipment in Crimea, developing project pipeline) and deal-flow generation across Turkey, former Soviet Republics, and the Caspian Sea region. These roles involved extension international travel to interface with western partners and investors particularly in Europe, the US, India and Australia.
Born, brought-up and educated in India, with higher education in the UK, Harinder is based in London, travelling frequently for work.
